Pets of the Week - Nov. 20, 2008

Sierra is a 4 and a half year old blue cream tortie, domestic shorthair. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Sierra found herself sitting in a tiny cage at Animal Control after her family was evicted from their home. When no one came to reclaim this gorgeous girl, CCHS rescued her and brought her to the safety of the shelter. That all took place nearly 4 years ago, and poor Sierra still sits at the CCHS shelter, waiting on a new home and family. She is extremely sweet, loves people, and does well with other cats. Anyone interested in Sierra should call Robin at 770/478-7531. Please visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.

Felix is a 5 year old black and white domestic shorthair. He has been neutered and all vaccinations are current. Through no fault of his own, Felix is in the CCHS shelter for the second time! Years ago, Felix was adopted from CCHS by a young man who assured us that he was taking this adoption very seriously. Unfortunately, after nearly 3 years with the young man, Felix no longer fit into the young man's lifestyle. He made a move, and Felix was not allowed in the new home. Felix is very much a "people cat" and he misses his person so much. He literally begs visitors for attention when they visit the cat room at the shelter. This cat will make the perfect companion for some lucky person. Anyone interested in Felix should call Robin at 770/478-7531.
