Peter Thomas an epidemiologist and senior research scientist in the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention at the CDC will be speaking at Clayton State University on Tuesday, Dec. 2 on "HIV/AIDS: Undressed in America." Thomas will be speaking from 11:10 a.m., to 12:40 p.m., in room UC 327 of the James M. Baker Center. The Clayton State University Gospel Choir will be giving its Fall Concert on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m., in the ballroom of the University's new Student Activities Center. The concert, which will also feature some up-and-coming artists from the Metro Atlanta area as well as the Clayton State students in the Choir, will last for approximately 90 minutes. Christmas in the Park will be held on Dec. 6, from 2 to 7 p.m., at Milton Daniel Park, adjacent to Morrow City Hall at 1500 Morrow Road. Area churches, businesses, and non-profit organizations will be there with Christmas-themed displays and exhibits. Choirs and musical groups will perform. Children can have their pictures taken with Santa Claus and can ride the Morrow "Lil' General Train." A little before 7 p.m., the city's "Singing Christmas Tree" helps light Morrow's Great Christmas Tree in front of Morrow City Hall. Admission is free.
