Charlotte Ann Cox, 69, of Forest Park, died on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m., at Pope Dickson & Son - Morrow Chapel, with the Rev. Derrick Keeter officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 28, from 4-8 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Steven Cox; daughters, Crystal Dexter and Regina Cox; brother, William Tarin; sister, Henrietta Doak; and five grandchildren.

Jeanette Chamblee Whidby
Mrs. Jeanette Chamblee Whidby, 85, of Forest Park, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2008. She was born July 25, 1923, in Fulton County, the daughter of the late Mae Sykes Chamblee and Walter Chamblee. Mrs. Whidby was a longtime employee, and retired twice from J.C. Penney's Department Store.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Thomas Whidby; children and their spouses, Jimmy and Callie Whidby, of Knoxville, Tenn., Dennis and Cheryl Whidby, of Acworth, Ga., Kenny Whidby, of Adairsville, and Darlene and Richard Skinner, of Carrollton; also nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 28, at 6 p.m., from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel, with Pastor Dan Guider officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow on Saturday at Crest Lawn Memorial Park at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, from 4 p.m. until the funeral hour. Gerald S. Fowler, Sr.
Mr. Gerald S. Fowler, Sr., 76, of Hampton, passed away Nov. 24, 2008. He was born in DeKalb County, to the late Rubin Samuel and Era Exa Fields Fowler, and was preceded in death by sisters, Irene Jones, Louise Bishop, and by brothers, Harold and Marvin Fowler.
Gerald served his country in the United States Army and was retired after 27 years with Prudential. He attended The Village Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and his grandchildren's sports activities.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jean Fowler, of Hampton; children, Cathy (Carlton) Chatman, of Hampton, Stewart Fowler, of Charleston, S.C.; grandchildren, Craig Chatman, Cindy DuBose, Corey Chatman, Tina Shaffer, Travis Fowler; great-grandchildren, Cierra, Chelie, Dylan, Malachi Chatman, Emma and Bowden DuBose, Christina Palowski, and Brittany Shaffer; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 28, at 11a.m., from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

Linda Upton McLain
Linda Upton McLain, 65, of Fayetteville, died Nov. 26, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Emily Jones, and husband, Raymond McLain.
She is survived by her son, Wesley "Kevin" (Rhonda) Upton, of Senoia; daughter Angela Lin (Douglas) Adams Albertini, of Augusta; grandchildren, Samantha Michelle Upton and Chase Cameron Upton, of Senoia; and brother, Charles "Chuck" Furman (Kathy) Jones, of Auburn.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m., at C. J. Mowell & Son Chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Bobby Simmons officiating. Entombment will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
