Grady W. Vest

Grady W. Vest, 69, of Jonesboro, passed away, Sept. 29, 2008. He was a member of Jonesboro First United Methodist Church. He was retired from Coca Cola U.S.A., with 33 years of service.

He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Jonesboro, a member of Coca Cola Chemist Club, and was a graduate of Berry College.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Wayne and Ellen Vest, of Simpsonville, S.C., the Rev. Roger Alan and Bonnie Vest, of Chatsworth, Ryan William and Heather Vest, of Cumming; brother and sister-in- law, James and Jean Vest, of Eva, Ala.; sisters, Edith Hyatt, Lucille Ball, Reba Taylor, all of Hartselle, Ala., Janny Chaney, of Falkville, Ala.; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Dan Holland, of Rogersville, Ala.; grandchildren, Natalie Vest, Grady Alan Vest, Mary Frances Vest, Drew Vest, and Cameron Vest.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 2, at 11 a.m., at Jonesboro First United Methodist Church. The remains will be placed in-state one hour prior to the service. Pastor Charles Robinson will officiate. Interment will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens.
