Officer sentenced for obscene video
Casey Carmichael, the former Clayton County police officer who used a police department laptop computer for lewd, online conversations with a teenager, has been sentenced to two years and nine months in federal prison. Carmichael pleaded guilty on Aug. 14 to "knowingly attempting to transfer obscene matter on the Internet to a person under the age of 16." The officer, now 29, admitted he sent a video of himself masturbating in his patrol car to an FBI agent, who was undercover as a 14-year-old Mississippi girl.
