Clayton State holding election discussions
Clayton State University is hosting two discussions of the presidential election on Thursday, Oct. 9. Clayton State's Political Science professors will facilitate a discussion on "Contrasting all of the candidates after the first two debates," from 11:10 a.m., to 12:30 p.m. The discussion will be held in room 267 of the James M. Baker University Center. Also, the university's Department of Campus Life, as part of its "A Multicultural World @ Clayton State" series, will present the discussion on the 2008 presidential election, "Decision 2008: Obama vs. McCain," from 7 to 9 p.m., in the ballroom of the University's new Student Activity Center. Marko Maunula, assistant professor of History, will be the featured presenter for the discussion, entitled, "The Candidates Unveiled."
