Woody Jackson
Mr. Woody Jackson, 68, of Jonesboro, passed away, Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008. He was retired from the U.S. Army. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Ruggles, of Tulsa, Okla., Michelle Dye, of Jonesboro; son, Michael Jackson, of Milner; mother, Alice Jackson, of Goldsboro, N.C.; brother, Sherrill Jackson, of Goldsboro, N.C.; sisters, Janice Carter, of Goldsboro, N.C., Carol Braumberg, of Waxhaw, N.C., Alice Ann Whitley. of Dunn, N.C.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, Sept. 4, at 11a.m., in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
