Pearl is an Oriental Shorthair. She is approximately two to three years old, and she has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Pearl was rescued from Animal Control when it was discovered that she had been placed on the "kill list" due to an injury. Once Pearl received the proper care and had been allowed some time to recover and heal, she has done very well. She has a slight limp but it does not seem to slow her down at all. Pearl is an extraordinary cat and has stolen the heart of her current foster mom. She loves to be held and cuddled, and she stands on her back legs, reaching up to be picked up. She is definitely a "lap cat" and would make a great best friend for some lucky person. Pearl definitely wants to be an "only cat", and tends to be rough with other cats; and for that reason, CCHS is suggesting that Pearl go into a home without other cats. Pearl desperately needs to be in an environment where she can be loved and doted on, as she absolutely craves attention. For more information, please call Robin at 770/478-7531. Juno is a one year old Border Terrier. She has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Juno is a wonderful dog, with a great personality. She gets along well with other dogs, but she is very high energy and active. She would probably really enjoy and benefit from being in a home with active adults and/or active children who will play with her. Juno is completely housebroken.
