Jewell West Williams, 86, of Jonesboro, passed away on Sept. 13, 2008. Mrs. Williams was retired from Crum & Forster Ins. Co., in Atlanta. She was a member of WBCCI International Airstream Club since 1969.

She traveled the U.S. and resided in her Airstream in Melbourne, Fla. and Helen, Ga., for numerous years, which she enjoyed to the fullest extent. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory L. (Bill) Williams; parents, Annie and Ernest West; sister, Dorothy West.

Mrs. Williams is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Mike Drinkwater, McDonough, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny L. and Charlene Williams, Williamson, Ga.; grandchildren, Tonya Garrahan, of Souderton, Pa., Billy Williams, of Dale City, Va., Clifton Williams, of Hampton, Ga., Kristina McElroy, of New Bern, N.C.; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Vernon West, of Stockbridge, and Claude D. West, of Trinity, Texas.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Sept. 20, 2008 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, on Tara Boulevard., Jonesboro, Ga., with Pastor Chris Reynolds officiating. In lieu of flower, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, and will be appreciated. Cremation Society of the SOUTH at Eagle's Landing, (770) 692-1181.
