Clayton BOE candidate holds rally

James Searcy, one of five candidates seeking the Clayton County Board of Education's vacant District 9 seat in a Nov. 4 special election, will hold a campaign caravan on Saturday, Sept. 27, beginning at 1:30 p.m., at 3049 Needhams Court, in Ellenwood. The caravan will proceed toward the Clayton County Public Schools Central Administration Complex, 1058 Fifth Ave., Jonesboro, where a 3 p.m., campaign rally will be held. He is urging supporters and friends to attend the events.
