Ola Vernell Williams

Ola Vernell Williams, age 94, of Forest Park passed away Monday, April 6, 2009. Ola was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Williams, and is survived by her daughters, Kay (Frank) Holtzclaw of Morrow, Shirley Gilley of Forest Park, Waynell Johnson of Forest Park; sons, Homer (Anna) Williams of Lake Weise, Ala., Larry (Barbara) Williams of Jonesboro, Phillip (Valerie) Williams of Stockbridge; 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 9, at 1 p.m., at Ward's Parkway Chapel with the Rev. Edward Gene Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park. Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 8, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Ola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Debra J. Keener

Debra J. Keener, 54, of Riverdale passed away April 6, 2009 in Riverdale. Mrs. Keener was born in Alabama to the late Ollie and Susan Brown. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Jimmy D. Keener of Riverdale; daughter Catherine McQuate; sons, Michael Keener and Kevin Keener; grandchildren Donna Jean Carpenter and Ryan Carpenter; sisters Glenda and Linda; brother Ralph; mother-in-law, Doris B. Keener and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 10, at Ward's Fairview Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
