Kay Joan Higgison
Mrs. Kay Joan Higgison, age 73, of Stockbridge passed away April 25, 2009. She was a member of Jonesboro First United Methodist Church, worked in the banking industry for many years and was a bailiff at the Clayton County Courthouse. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin Higgison.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Sanders of Stockbridge, Karen and Mike Arrington of Jonesboro, Rodney and Marlene Silvey of Locust Grove; sister, Carolyn and John Collins of Cumming; grandchildren, William Wesley Sanders, Brooke Michelle Arrington, Andrew Michael Arrington, Erica Lynn Kizer, Jason Brent Eady, Jennifer Megan Bunn; great grandchildren, Blaine Kizer, Harley Kizer, and Adalee Kizer.
Funeral services will be held, today, Tuesday, April 28, at 11 a.m., at Jonesboro First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Charles Robinson and the Rev. Kyle T. Smith will officiate. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m., at Macon Memorial Park in Macon. The family received friends Monday, April 27, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
