Pets of the Week - August 7, 2009

Missy was adopted from CCHS back in 2002. She lived with her new family for the next 7 years, until both of them passed away. At that time, she was returned to CCHS. Now 9 years old, Missy is looking for a new home and family, who will be willing to let her live out her senior years in a happy, comfortable home. She is an extremely friendly dog, but she does not do well with other animals. For adoption information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at 770/471-9436. Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.

Sierra is a 5 year old blue cream tortie, domestic shorthair. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Sierra found herself sitting in a tiny cage at Animal Control after her family was evicted from their home. When no one came to reclaim this gorgeous girl, CCHS rescued her and brought her to the safety of the shelter. That all took place several years ago, and poor Sierra still sits at the CCHS shelter, waiting on a new home and family. This poor girl has spent almost her entire life at our facility. She is extremely sweet, loves people, and does well with other cats. Anyone interested in Sierra should call Robin at 770/478-7531.
