Man stabbed roommate with fork

Clayton County Police arrested a man for allegedly stabbing his roommate in the face with a fork, Wednesday, at a house on Lake Jodeco Road, near Jonesboro.

Around noon Wednesday, police responded to 2831 Lake Jodeco Rd.

"Two males got into an argument," said Major Alan Holloway. "One got mad at the other, and cut him in the face."

Police did not immediately release the identities of the men involved in the incident. The victim was treated on the scene.

Holloway said the man who was arrested would be charged, either with aggravated battery or aggravated assault. He was being transported to the Clayton County Jail, according to Holloway.

Neighbor, Eileen Hyde, who lives across the street, said the neighborhood is usually quiet. "There's never been any problem, never loud," she said.
