Three suspects are in custody following a bank robbery that occurred Monday afternoon in Riverdale.
A male suspect used a note to rob the Bank of North Georgia, located at 7384 Ga. Hwy. 85, in Riverdale, around 3:21 p.m., according to Assistant Police Chief Todd Spivey, of the Riverdale Police Department.
Spivey said the suspect did not display a weapon. "I understand that there was reference to a weapon, but none was seen," said Spivey.
The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, and authorities tracked him down, along with two other suspects, according to Spivey.
"By way of a lookout, and number of units in the area, the vehicle was located on Upper Riverdale Road, and we now have three individuals in custody," said Spivey.
Spivey described the suspects as two black males and one black female.
He did not have the identities of the persons arrested, but said they would be transported to the Clayton County Jail.
Clayton County Police and the Georgia State Patrol assisted in the capture, according to Spivey.
He said no one was injured in the incident.
Spivey said the suspect did take an undisclosed amount of money during the robbery, however, the money was recovered.
