CSU women move into NCAA Division II Top-10

The Clayton State Laker women's basketball team continued to ascend up in this week's new USA Today/ESPN Division II Coaches' Top 25 poll, which was released on late Tuesday afternoon.

After moving up two spots to 11th last week, Clayton State moved up three spots to eighth in this week's poll. The Lakers, who are the highest-ranked Peach Belt Conference team, earned 405 points, and it's Clayton State's highest national ranking since being ranked seventh early in the 2007-08 season. Clayton State ran its record to 4-0 on Saturday with a convincining 81-50 victory over visiting UNC Pembroke in its PBC opener.
