Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with last week's shooting death of a teenager at an Ellenwood apartment complex.
Kleo Kelronte Hughley, 20, was arrested Saturday and charged with the murder of Antonio Djwan Crocker, 19, according to Lt. Tina Daniel, a spokesperson for the Clayton County Police Department.
Police obtained arrest warrants for Hughley, and he was taken into custody by the Clayton County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Investigative Unit, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshall's Service, according to authorities.
The incident occurred Dec. 7, at the Cobblestone Flats Apartments, located at 2445 Rex Rd., in Ellenwood, according to Daniel.
"He [Crocker] had severe injuries on the way to the hospital, but he was still alive, and he died once he got there," said GlenNeta Griffin, also a spokesperson for the Clayton County Police Department.
Witnesses said the shots were fired from what appeared to be a 1990's model, green, Toyota Camry, with four men inside, according to Griffin.
Hughley was arrested at a friend's house in Griffin, Ga., Daniel said.
