Lovey is a seven year old Tabby Domestic Shorthair. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Lovey was abandoned at a mobile spay/neuter clinic; and lucky for her, a CCHS staff person happened to be volunteering at the clinic that day. When no one showed up at the end of the day to pick Miss Lovey up, she hitched a ride to the CCHS shelter, where she has been ever since. That was SIX years ago, and poor Lovey has never been adopted; as a matter of fact, no one ever looks at her or even asks about her. Unfortunately for Lovey, she is a very "common" looking cat in an area where cats are being given away on every corner. But anyone who takes the time to meet and visit with Lovey, will quickly find that she has tons of personality. She is so very sweet and affectionate, and she would like nothing more than to be someone's "lap kitty". Lovey can be a bit bossy with other cats, but she is slowly learning to play well with others....or at least, to simply leave others alone! Anyone interested in adopting a really sweet girl, and one who certainly deserves more than to live her entire life in a shelter, please call Robin at 770/478-7531. CCHS is BEGGING someone to give this little angel a chance at happiness outside of a cage! Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.
