Charles R. Orr
Mr. Charles R. Orr, 73, of Jonesboro went to be with the Lord on Feb. 10, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy A. Orr and sons, Richard and Robert Orr. He is survived by his daughter, Norma Hanson of Arizona, daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and David Pugh of Hampton, Laura and Craig Engler of Powder Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Rannette Orr of Jonesboro; brothers, William Orr of Sebring, Fla., Donnie Orr of Ocala, Fla.; sister, Sandra Taylor of Lilburn, and he was the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends, Thursday, Feb. 12, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle with a service starting at 6 p.m. The Rev. Tom Allen will officiate. Interment will be Friday, Feb. 13, at 1 p.m., at New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Ringgold.
