Mr. Joseph C. Buckner, 48, of Morrow, passed away, Feb. 19, 2009.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Sarah Buckner, of Ellijay; son, Daniel Buckner, of Smyrna; father and mother, A.J., Jr., and Betty Buckner, of Morrow; brothers, Mark Andrew Buckner, of Fayetteville, and David Edwin Buckner, of Mississippi.

Grace Dean Cannon

Mrs. Grace Dean Cannon, of Sharpsburg (formerly of Stockbridge), passed away Feb. 20, 2009.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Derr, of Huntsville, Ala., Peggy Slude, of Jonesboro, Shelba Ramsey and her husband, Randall, of Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Tiffany and Joe Wallis, Shanna and Sam Haynes, Joshua Ramsey, David and Gina Dean, Jerry and Lynn Dean, Rebecca Derr, Edward and Angel Derr, Angel and Mark Fluxe, and Terri; 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Gregory Lane Berger

Mr. Gregory Lane Berger, 51, of Atlanta, passed away Feb. 19, 2009.

He was born in Atlanta, to the late Fred Ernest Berger. Greg had a great personality, was a hard worker, enjoyed computers, his two cats, Pumpkin and Baby, and was the previous owner of Gregory's in Hampton, Ga.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Mary Ellen (Edward) Ambrose, of McDonough; brother, Fred (Joyce) Ernest Berger, Jr., of McDonough; sister, Mary Rebecca (Frank) Pryor, of Fayetteville; nephews, John Berger, of Atlanta and Beau (Julie) Kelley, of McDonough; niece, Jennifer (Tucker) Perkerson, of McDonough.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 11a.m., from the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Keith Archiball and Julane Mangum will officiate. Mr. Bobby Joe Parlier, 20, of Jonesboro, passed away, Feb. 19, 2009.

He is survived by his parents, Claude and Shirley Parlier, of Jonesboro, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
