Wanda Lister
Mrs. Wanda Lister, age 79, of Stockbridge passed away Jan. 13, 2009. She was a devoted Christian and a member of First Christian Church of Jonesboro. She was a loving wife of 60 years, mother and grandmother. She retired as a postal carrier after working for many years in Riverdale. She is survived by her husband, Elvin; son and daughter-in-law, Steven E. and Kimberly Lister of Jonesboro; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Ann and Scott A. Holt of Stockbridge; brother, Donald McNutt of Florida; grandchildren, Stacey Merritt, Amanda Martin, Laura Avent-Holt, Stefanie Lora Ann Lister and great-grandchild, Cameron Merritt. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Wade Hall will officiate. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
