Riverdale got its most impressive victory of the season so far over the weekend, a 64-56 victory over No. 10 Westlake at home in a Region 4-AAAAA game Saturday. for Riverdale (9-5, 5-3)

Javoris Bryant scored 19 points and Marcus Thornton added 14 to lead the Lions (11-6, 8-2).

· Jonesboro 76, Griffin 70 (OT): At Griffin, the Bulldogs rebounded from a tough loss to Dutchtown on Friday with a gritty overtime win over the Bears in a Region 4-AAAA game Saturday.

· Ola 44, Dutchtown 41: At Ola, the Mustangs broke a five-game losing streak with a win over the Bulldogs in a Region 4-AAAA game Saturday.

· ELCA 71, Henry County 55: The Chargers snapped the Warhawks' five-game winning streak in a non-region game Saturday. ELCA was paced by Chris Bebout and Mike Tankersley, who each scored 19 points. Laricus Thomas led all scorers, finishing with 26 points for Henry County.

· Woodland 47, Union Grove 43: At Woodland, the Wolfpack won for the seventh time in the past eight games with a victory over the Wolverines in a non-region game Saturday.

· Mt. Zion 69, Stockbridge 50: At Stockbridge, the Bulldogs got 19 points from Steven Wilson in rout to an easy victory over the Tigers in a Region 4-AAAA game Saturday.

Karon Hodge added 15 points for Mt. Zion (8-8, 4-6).

Chris Davis and Donte Campbell scored 14 points each to lead Stockbridge (10-8, 5-5).

· North Clayton 74, Forest Park 63: At North Clayton, the Eagles snapped a four-game losing streak with their victory over the Panthers in a Region 4-AAAA game Saturday.

· Redan 60, Luella 45: The Luella Lions dropped their fourh game in a row, falling to the Raiders in the Region 2-AAAAA contest.

Girls Basketball

Drameka Griggs scored 14 points to help Jonesboro to its 15th consecutive win, a 45-31 victory over Griffin in a Region 4-AAAA game Saturday.

Joi Holyfield added 13 points for the Lady Bulldogs (16-1, 9-0).

· Dutchtown 55, Ola 35: At Ola, the Lady Bulldogs won for the fourth time in the past five games with their victory over the Lady Mustangs in a Region 4-AAAA game Saturday.

· Henry County 64, ELCA 52: The No. 6 Lady Warhawks won for the fourth time in the past five games with their victory over the Lady Chargers in a non-region game Saturday.

· North Clayton 55, Forest Park 42: At North Clayton, the Lady Eagles handed the Lady Panthers their fifth loss in six games in a Region 4-AAAA game Saturday.

· Mt. Zion 53, Stockbridge 47: At Stockbridge, the Lady Bulldogs clinched a regular-season sweep of the Lady Tigers with a victory in a Region 4-AAAA game Saturday.

· Redan 54, Luella 46: The Redan Lady Raiders extended their undefeated record to 11-0 overall and 7-0 in Region 2-AAAAA play at the hands of the Lady Lions Saturday night. Luella fell to 3-12 overall and 0-5 in league play.

Jonesboro 40, Lovejoy 27 (jayvee): Angenay Williams scored 22 points and Missy Richardson added 9 as the Lady Cardinals improved to 13-1 overall.
