Lovey is a seven and a half year old tabby domestic shorthair. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Years ago, this poor girl was abandoned at a mobile spay/neuter clinic. She came to live at the CCHS shelter, but she was not good with other cats, so she had to be caged. Lovey has remained in a cage for years. Recently, Lovey has been moved to the CCHS office, where she has had short breaks outside of her cage. Since there are only a few cats in the office of the shelter, she has done fairly well with them. CCHS staff believe that she would be fine in a home with few or no other cats. She has a wonderfully sweet personality, despite the substandard life she has been forced to live. This precious girl deserves so much more than she has been given. Lovey would not require much.....just a roof over her head, food and water, and just a little attention every now and then. She's fairly sedate and she naps a lot, so she is absolutely no trouble whatsoever. If you have a spare easy chair in your home, and you'd like to help a really deserving kitty, please call Robin at 770/478-7531. Caine is a 10 month old West Highland Terrier (Westie). He has been neutered and fully vaccinated. Caine is a typical terrier; a serious ball of energy and he goes non-stop. He will do best with an active family, and would benefit greatly from a fenced backyard where he can safely work off some of his energy. He is a very sweet dog, but he will require some time and patience. Someone with experience with terriers would be a perfect fit for this little guy.
