Wise about Youth: A Training and Consulting Company for Youth Serving Organizations presents, "Great Presentation Skills Training," on Thursday, July 23, from 9:30 a.m., to 3 p.m., at the Clayton County Adolescent Health and Youth Development Center, 685 Forest Parkway, Forest Park. Participants must be 18 years of age, or older, and will learn topics such as how to engage teens, guiding large group discussions and answering difficult questions. Registration is required. The University of Georgia College of Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences Cooperative Extension Service Clayton County, will conduct a free class titled, "Green is a Good Color!" on Thursday, July 23, from 12:15 p.m., to 1 p.m., at the Cooperative Extension Service Clayton County, 1262 Government Circle, Jonesboro. The class will teach participants recipes for a clean, and healthy home, using household items. The class will be taught by Sandy Foster, Clayton County extension agent. The Clayton County Chamber of Commerce, will host its "SunTrust Early Bird Breakfast," on Thursday, July 23, at 7:45 a.m., in the Continuing Education Building of Clayton State University, 2000 Clayton State Blvd., Morrow. The cost is $15, for members, and guests of members, and $25, for non-members. The guest speaker will be Eldrin Bell, chairman of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners. Caring For Others, Inc. will be hosting a "Community Food Distribution" on Saturday, July 25, from noon to 2 p.m. at Caring For Others, Inc., 3537 Browns Mill Road, Suite 2, Atlanta. The distribution will be for approximately the first 600 families, one per household, regardless of income. The food available includes canned fruits, vegetables and frozen meats. Small Business and Development Center, at Clayton State University, will present a free workshop, on July 29, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., in room T-152, at the Clayton State School of Business Building, located at Clayton State University, 2000 Clayton State Blvd., Morrow. The workshop is designed for established businesses, that have been operating for two years, and are eligible for the 8(a) designation. Jabez's Balanced Nutrition Services will provide free breakfast and lunch for children 18 years of age, and under, until July 31, at Battle Creek Village Townhomes, 1174 Battle Creek Road, Jonesboro. LADYS, Inc., will have its "8th Annual Saturday Basketball School," from Aug. 15 to Oct. 24, with its first session at the Jim Huie Recreation Center, 9045 Tara Boulevard, Jonesboro. The program runs for 10 weeks, and focuses on developing and enhancing the basic fundamentals of young girls, ages 8 to 16. The City of College Park, will have its "3rd Annual College Park Cityfest," on Aug. 22, at 6 p.m., at the Georgia International Convention Center, 2000 Concourse Boulevard, College Park. Oct. 3
