Randall Herman Crane

Randall Herman Crane, age 92, of Riverdale, the owner of Crane Hardware, died on Friday, June 19, 2009.

Mr. Crane was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II.

He is survived by his sister, Alice Kidd, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Monday, June 22 at 9 a.m., at Camp Memorial Park with the Rev. Floyd Carmack officiating.

The Rev. Don McElhanon

The Rev. Don McElhanon, age 73, of Jonesboro passed away June 20, 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria "Mrs. Mac;" son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sharon McElroy of Mobile, Ala.; daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Larry Clevenger of Houston, Texas, Donna and Larry Brown of Forsyth, Ga.; brother, Riley McElhanon of Plain Dealing, La.; grandchildren, Michael McElroy, Brandon Clevenger, Ashlyn Shoup, Eric Brown, Dennis Brown, Andrew Clevenger, Laura Tangedahl; 10 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 24 at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Burns and Dr. Randy Valimont will officiate. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 23 from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Robert K. Popwell

Robert K. Popwell, age 48, of Forest Park passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 at his residence.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 24, in the chapel of Horis A. Ward-Parkway Chapel at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Roy Watkins officiating, with interment to follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.

He is survived by his son, Chris Popwell of Forest Park; father, Joseph Popwell of Fayetteville; sister, Olive (Kenneth) Ashley of Newnan; nieces and nephews, Emmaline, Joseph and Thomas Ashley (the Triplets). He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Harrelson Popwell, and his mother, Ann Raymond Popwell.
