A fourth suspect in a recent robbery at a local dollar store is behind bars.

Jarria Chantel Capri Lewis, 18, of Rex was arrested Friday and taken to the Henry County Jail. She is charged with one count of armed robbery in connection with an incident which took place Wednesday, at the Dollar General at 1786 Panola Road in Ellenwood.

Lewis joined three other suspects in the case who are being held without bond. They are: Shakia Shante Harris, 18, of Ellenwood; Terence Lanier Johnson, 18, of Rex; and Lauren Felice Mickens, 20, of Lithonia.

According to Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton, two of the suspects entered the store at approximately 9 p.m., wearing bandanas covering the lower halves of the their faces.

"One of the suspects was armed with a handgun, and the other removed an undisclosed amount of money from the store's safe," Bolton said Friday. "Both suspects fled the store on foot as police responded to the scene."

Johnson was reportedly apprehended in a wooded area near the store soon after the robbery, and taken to the Henry County Jail. Bolton said detectives discovered Lewis was one of the individuals who took the money from the safe.

Authorities later identified Mickens and Harris as additional suspects in the robbery, Bolton said.

"Mickens acted as a 'look-out,' and entered the store prior to Johnson and Lewis," he said.

Harris and Mickens were arrested the day of the robbery, and taken into custody. A warrant was issued for Lewis' arrest the following day, and she was apprehended Friday at the Pizza Hut on Panola Road in Ellenwood, Bolton said.

"I am unable to discuss the contents of any statements that she may, or may not have made," Bolton said Monday.

Lewis appeared Monday in Henry County Magistrate Court, represented by the Public Defender's Office. Judge Robert Godwin denied bond for the suspect, and bound the charge against her over to Henry County Superior Court.

Preliminary hearings for Harris, Johnson and Mickens are scheduled for July 24.
