Billie H. Copeland

Billie H. Copeland, age 79, of Morrow died on Sunday, June 28, 2009.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, at Pope Dickson & Son-Morrow Chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 30, from 6 to 8 p.m.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Joan Strichko.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Sims Copeland; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Patricia Copeland; son-in-law, Dennis Strichko; grandchildren, Niki and David Wilson, Julie Joiner, Jodie Copeland, and Shane Copeland; great-granddaughter, Gillian Elizabeth Wilson, and sister, Jan Newman.

Wallace R. Wright

Mr. Wallace R. Wright of Rex passed away June 28, 2009 at the age of 87. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2 at 2 p.m., at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors with interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The Rev. James F. Richter, Evangelist Dennis Batchelor and the Rev. James F. Richter, Jr., will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife of 61 years, June Wright; daughter, Brenda W. Batchelor and husband Dennis of Toccoa; nieces and nephews.
