The Clayton County Parks and Recreation Department will have a Spring Break Camp for children ages 5 to 15. Registration for the camp will begin on March 16, and will end on April 3. Historical Jonesboro/Clayton County, Inc., is selling commemorative bricks that will be used in the city of Jonesboro's streetscape. When completed, the streetscape will feature a walkway where the engraved bricks will be placed. There is an "early bird special" price of $35 for one brick, or three bricks for $100. Fishing day-passes for the Shoal Creek Reservoir, located at 301 Hampton Road, Hampton, are on sale for $10 at the Shamrock/Blalock Reservoir entrance office, located at 2688 Shamrock Road, Jonesboro. Passes may be purchased Wednesday through Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. Anglers will need to purchase a pass in advance, then select a Saturday for fishing.
