Yun-Shu Edington, 40, of McDonough passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2009. Yun-Shu was born in Taipei, Taiwan, on July 14, 1968. He was raised in Fayetteville, N.C., by Lan Chen and Patrick Edington.
He is survived by his wife, April Jacobs Edington; son, Brandon Edington, 18; and daughter, Lauren Edington, 16; parents, Lan Chen and Patrick Edington of Fayetteville, N.C.; one sister, Shu-Fen Taylor; two brothers, Lei-Shen Edington, Lei-Lung Edington, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Yun-Shu were held Monday, March 9, at 6 p.m., at Living Faith Tabernacle, 5880 Old Dixie Highway, Forest Park, with Pastor Chris Bowen officiating. The family received friends at the church preceding the service from the hours of 4 to 6 p.m.

Sara Frances Mayo
Mrs. Sara Frances Mayo, age 91, of Jonesboro passed away March 8, 2009. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Jonesboro.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Carolyn and Steve Dukes, Delores and Ray Simmons; sons and daughters-in-law, Dewayne and Brenda Mayo and Larry and Carol Mayo; sister, Opal Miller; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home Wednesday, March 11, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Ray Waters and Dr. Larry Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro City Cemetery.
