Becky White Craig

Becky White Craig, age 57, of Jonesboro died Saturday, March 7, 2009.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12, at Horis A. Ward Tara Chapel at 1 p.m., with Joe Mauthe officiating. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery in College Park.

A native of Clayton County, Mrs. Craig worked as a computer programmer.

She is survived by two sisters, Donna Edwards and Marion Hurlburt, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Jessie White, III.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 11, from 1 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Betty Darnell

Dec. 22, 1947 - March 10, 2009

Mrs. Betty Darnell, age 61, of Jonesboro passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Southern Regional Medical Center. She was born in Fulton County on Dec. 22, 1947 to the late Willie M. Garnett and the late Edna Odelle Horton Garnett. She was the office manager for Fepco Trucking Company in Conley.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Darnell; sister, Glenda Ann Vaughan; special nieces, Lisa Heath, Tina Wells, and Misty Slappey; great-nieces and great-nephews, Brandon, Haley, Justin, Rob, Dylan, Devan, Danielle, Corey and Madison.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 12, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Drew Stephens will officiate. Friends may visit the family Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
