Margaret Hand of Eatonton passed away on May 3, 2009 at her residence.
Survivors include her son, Buddy and Sherry Shelnutt of Williamson, step-daughters, Sally Hand of San Francisco, Diane Wilkin of Mississippi; step-son, Charles Hand of Eatonton; sisters, Era Geiger of Starke, Fla., Bobbie Jean and David Loveless of Marietta; brother, Raymond and Audrey Walker of Griffin; sister-in-law, Martha Jean Walker of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Kathi Diaz and Madison Shelnutt. She had other grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 1 p.m., in the chapel with Pastor Walt Weister officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.

Sherry Lee Reinhold Hammett
Mrs. Sherry Lee Reinhold Hammett, age 43, of Jonesboro passed away May 2, 2009. She was born in Amarillo, Texas, and was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Sherry enjoyed the beach, flower gardening and '70s music. She will always be remembered for her outgoing personality and beautiful smile.
Survivors include her husband, Brad Hammett of Jonesboro; children, Eli and Emma Hammett; father, Ron (Dona) Reinhold of Temple; mother, Jeanne (George Boone) Herter of Stockbridge; sister, Tiffany Reinhold of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandmother, Lillian Tappen of Stockbridge; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 7, at 11 a.m., from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Dr. Bill Lacey will officiate. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
