Thanks to Sgt. Maddox, water authority
To the editor: I wanted to express my gratitude to Sgt. Robert Maddox for his exceptional service. I discovered a very large sinkhole in my yard, next to the street. I was not sure who to call at 5:30 p.m. I started with the Clayton County Police Department. Sgt. Robert Maddox arrived in a very timely manner, after my call to the department. He notified the Clayton County Water Authority and stayed until the area was secured. I was also very pleased with the Clayton Water Authority. The sinkhole was repaired within a few days. All of the employees did a wonderful job. I wanted to use this letter to express my heartfelt thanks to all of the people who acted to repair the problem in a timely manner.
