Delores Ann Breedlove
Delores Ann Breedlove, age 73, of Clayton County passed away May 9, 2009.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, May 15, at 11 a.m., in Horis A. Ward Tara Chapel, with Joe Mauthe officiating. Interment followed in Sherwood Memorial Park.
A long-time resident of Clayton County, Delores Breedlove was a home maker in her own home.
She is survived by one daughter, Robin Kimberly Parker; one son, Mark Henry Knake (Carol); three grandchildren, Tesia Marie Knake; Autumn Rose Robin Mauthe; Samuel Joseph Blake Parker; two great-grandsons, Dylan Stenger and Brandon Stenger.
The family received friends Thursday, May 14, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Sara Nell Barron
Mrs. Sara Nell Barron, age 78, of Jonesboro passed away May 15, 2009. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elisha Barron, and son, Larry Vance Nash.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Randy Fuller of Kentucky; step son and wife, Donald and Nancy Purgason of Tifton; step son Kenneth Purgason of California; brother and sister in law, Bobby and Grace Ward of Newnan; sister, Dorothy Wingo of Macon; grandchildren, Randall Fuller, Hallie Fuller, Christie Nash and Jason Nash, and also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held, Monday, May 18, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. The Rev. Irvin Pearre will officiate. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Craig Eubanks, age 59, of Jonesboro died on Thursday, May 14, 2009.
Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, at 11 a.m., at Pope Dickson & Son-Jonesboro Chapel with the Rev. Tom Shannon officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Eubanks; son and daughter-in-law, Lemuel Eubanks and Dongkui Ao; daughter, Misty Eubanks; grandchildren, Jonathan Eubanks, Alishia Eubanks, and Mary Ragsdale; and brother, Marion Eubanks.

Takeko Shimabukuro Ahrens
Takeko Shimabukuro Ahrens went to be with her Lord Jesus on May 15, 2009, at the age of 77 years. Takeko was born April 21, 1932 in the city of Naha City, Okinawa. She is preceded in death by a son, Anthony, who was born premature and was buried in a cemetery near Pisa, Italy, in 1968.
Takeko leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband of 44 years, Galen Ahrens of Locust Grove; daughter and son-in-law Amy and Patrick Sheirling of McDonough; granddaughter Marissa Jade Sheirling of McDonough; five sisters, Matsuyo of Warrenton, Va., Naoko of Tokyo, Japan, Mitsuko of Vancouver, Wash., Aiko of Tokyo, Japan, and Tomiko of Osaka, Japan. Takeko and Galen met in Sukiran, Okinawa, in October of 1963 where Takeko worked for the U.S. Army Data Processing Facility and Galen served in the U.S. Army. Galen and Takeko were married May 19, 1965 at the American Consulate in Naha, Okinawa.

Mr. Calvin Sosby, Jr., age 78, of Jonesboro passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Sosby; children, Wayne and Diane Sosby of Atlanta, Teresa and Jerry Delaney of Panama City, Fla., Carol and Rick Cutter of Heflin, Ala., Ken and Mary Sosby of Grantville, Ga., Billy Sosby and Jeff of McDonough; sister Helen Jones; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Joan Swinney, age 63, of Hampton passed away Friday, May 15, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loney Swinney, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Wayne Swinney of Hampton and Loney Russell Swinney of Tye, Ga.; brothers, Joe and Frank Fore of Lawrenceville; sisters, Lanette Stewart of Blairsville, Lynda Hanson of Loganville, Sandra Roberts of Blairsville, Susan Ray of Matthews, N.C., Diane Johnston of Harrison, Ga., Gloria Davis of Fayetteville; grandchildren Meagan Garcia and Kenzie, Jowel, Dylan, Jason, and Bradley Swinney, and three great-grandchildren.
