Clayton County police are investigating a shooting outside a house in College Park Saturday night that left one man wounded in the chest.

Chhunna Prak, 39, of Morrow, was shot in the left chest around 9:30 p.m., Saturday, while standing outside a house located at 5376 Warrington Place, according to police reports.

Prak was transported to Atlanta Medical Center in stable condition, with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Clayton County Police spokesman, Officer Kevin Hughes.

Witnesses told police that a Red Acura RSX, with a black hood, came down the street, according to the police report. Witnesses, who were standing outside the home while attending a birthday party there, told police that an "unknown, Asian male then stood up in the sunroof of the vehicle and started shooting in their direction."

Police do not know the motive in the case, but believe it may have been a random shooting, because the suspect also fired shots at the house across the street before fleeing the scene, according to Hughes.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-8477.
