Ruby Dunn Randall
Ruby Dunn Randall, age 94, a lifelong homemaker, passed away on May 19, 2009. She had been a resident of Lake City for the past 20 years, but had previously lived in Live Oak, Fla., and Dawson, Ga., where her late husband, Henry L. Randall, was a former fire chief. Mrs. Randall was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Randall; both of her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. (Delilah) Dunn; brothers, Arthur Dunn, Charlie Cray, and William Dunn. She is survived by her sisters, Mrs. S.J. (Maggie) Durrance of Lake City, Ga., and Mrs. G.M. (Ruth) Parker of Chickasaw, Ala.; brothers, Youris M. Dunn of Lake City, Fla., and Roy Dunn of Lake City, Ga., and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or to Morrow First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 143, Morrow, Ga., 30260. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 22, at 11 a.m., at Pope Dickson & Son-Morrow Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ed Judy officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 21, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m. Pope Dickson & Son-Morrow Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
