jsmith@henryherald.com Henry County Police have apprehended one of three suspects believed to be connected to a break-in at an Ellenwood home earlier this year. Rozel Dewayne Carlisle, 25, of Marietta is charged with burglary. He was being held in the Henry County Jail on $35,000 bond. The case against Carlisle originated March 16, at 142 St. Marks Drive in Ellenwood. In the days immediately following the alleged burglary, police said three black males had entered the home and stolen an undisclosed amount of jewelry. The suspects were believed to be "armed and dangerous," Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton said at the time the investigation began. Carlisle was arrested and taken into custody Wednesday. Bolton provided additional details Friday on how police located the suspect, and the status of the investigation thus far. "Another law enforcement agency provided us with the suspect information on the case," he said. "The investigation is ongoing, and we are still attempting to identify the other two suspects." According to authorities, the perpetrators were seen on a security video, taken from the location where the incident occurred. Carlisle appeared Thursday in Henry County Magistrate Court. His case was reset for June 23, to allow him time to hire an attorney.More like this story
