Morrow Police say they made more than a dozen arrests during a multi-jurisdictional operation aimed at clamping down on crime and boosting officers' visibility.

The Morrow Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic (HEAT) unit, along with members of the department's Uniform Patrol Division, made 15 arrests, issued 94 citations, and impounded seven vehicles Wednesday, during Operation Blue Light Blitz, according to Morrow Police Capt. Scott Olson.

Those arrested included three juveniles who were spotted in a stolen vehicle on Ga. Highway 54 near Interstate 75, police said. The juveniles led police on a high-speed chase on I-75 northbound, before being stopped near Atlanta, police said.

Other arrests were for felony possession of marijuana, driving without a license and driving with a suspended or revoked license, Olson said.

The marijuana was "recovered from a vehicle that stemmed from one of our road checks," said Olson. He said officers recovered approximately 1 1/2 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle.

"There were also several wanted persons that we located," he said.

Morrow Police officers conducted six driver's license/sobriety checkpoints at various locations throughout the city, according to Olson.

In addition to the pre-planned checkpoints, officers conducted several resident- and business-security survey checks, he said.

"The intent of the operation was to maximize police presence within the community, and to foster positive relationships," Olson said in a statement.

.......Is this a Riddle, a Quiz, a Multiple Choice Test, or the Tale of a Police Department that is attempting to regain the trust in the locals ?

.....Maybe Officer Olson can teach the Red Cameras, in Morrow, how to "foster positive relationships" with the Signal Lights..
