Belk's Charity Sale, on Saturday, Nov. 7, will benefit local charities, schools, and nonprofit organizations throughout the company's 16-state market area. Belk's previous Charity Sale, on May 2, raised more than $5 million for hundreds of participating nonprofit organizations, the company said.
The four-hour, in-store shopping event provides a chance for customers to support worthwhile charities and take advantage of special discounts on purchases made during the event.
With a $5 donation, customers will receive a ticket admitting them to the Charity Sale on Nov. 7, from 6 to 10 a.m., with discounts ranging from an additional 15 to 50 percent on purchases in the store. Tickets may be purchased at the Belk of McDonough store. To learn more, visit the Belk web site at www.belk.com.
