A man wanted for the alleged stabbing of his ex-girlfriend, and the woman's juvenile daughter, on Friday, was arrested Monday, according to Clayton County Police.
James Kelly Howard, 31, was being held in the Clayton County Jail, according to jail officials.
Around 6:15 p.m., Friday, Clayton County Police responded to a report of two persons being stabbed at 330 Arrowhead Blvd., Building 13, Officer Kevin Hughes said in a press statement.
The mother, whose name was not immediately released, was transported to Atlanta Medical Center for treatment, Hughes said. The juvenile's injuries were not as serious, and she was taken to Southern Regional Medical Center for treatment, he said.
Warrants were obtained for Howard for aggravated assault, cruelty to children, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, according to the press statement.
Howard is scheduled for a first appearance hearing on Monday, according to online court records.
