Susan L. Copeland
Susan L. Copeland, 67, of Canton, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at her residence. She retired from the shipping department at J.C. Penney, and was a member of Merritt Street Baptist Church in Atlanta. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Sunday, Oct. 4, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joey Dubois officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Mrs. Copeland was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Pauline Fitts. Survivors include her sons, Jason T. (Mary) Copeland, of Massachusetts, and John T. (Cindy) Copeland, of Morrow, Ga.; brother, Tommy Fitts, of Waleska; sister, Lisa Evans, of Canton; grandchildren, Adam Boulette, Amanda Copeland, Tamara Copeland, Alisa Copeland and Joshua Copeland; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 1 to 3 p.m., and 5 to 8 p.m., and until the funeral hour on Sunday.
