Charlie B. Sheppard, of Morrow, passed away Oct. 6, 2009, at Sacred Journey Hospice.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Sheppard; sisters, Sarah Mae Molton, Myrtice and Bryon Hinson; brother, J. E. Sheppard; sister-in-law, Juanita Gillis; nieces, Sandra Darden, Rhonda Whatley, Catherine Burrell, Cynthia Caffee; nephews, Kenneth Jones, Larry Jones, Wayne Jones, Mike Jones. Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m., at the Morrow First Baptist Church with Dr. Jack Harwell officiating. Visitation was Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Zion Hope Baptist Church on Friday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m., in McRae, Ga. Thomas L. Scroggs was in charge of the arrangements.
