Corinth Baptist Church is holding a yard sale today and Saturday, from 8 a.m., to 4 p.m., in the church's Fellowship Hall. Three J Cafe is having a Harvest Jamboree on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 2 to 5 p.m., at Corinth Baptist Church, located at 398 Corinth Road in Jonesboro. There will be live music, games, clowns, face painting, door prizes, a children's comedy show, and inflatable attractions for kids. Barbecue pork plates will be available. A new members' reception for Higher Living Christian Church will take place on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m., to 1 p.m., at the Higher Living Community Impact Center, located at 2450 Mount Zion Parkway, Suite 400 in Jonesboro. The Ladies of Favor Mentoring Program is inviting all youths and family out to a night of expression. Morrow First United Methodist Church will host its 42nd annual Barbecue, Yard Sale and Fall Festival on Oct. 17. Jodeco Road United Methodist Church, at 1500 Jodeco Road in Stockbridge, will hold its annual Barbecue and Fall Festival on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11 a.m., to 5 p.m. Tickets for the barbecue are currently being sold for dine-in or carry-out orders. There will be a Bake Sale featuring homemade goods, a Craft Fair inside the church, and a Yard Sale outside the church. There will also be a Red Cross blood drive from 9 a.m., to 3 p.m. A free Children's Festival will take place alongside the festivities, from 11 a.m., to 3 p.m., which will include popcorn, a children's train, mookwalks, face painting, and more.
