Mr. Harry Booth, age 83, of Union City, passed away Oct. 14, 2009.
He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. He retired from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution as a typesetter.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; children, Alan (Janet) Harrelson of Peachtree City, Jan (Tom) Kendall of Greenville, S.C., Richard Booth of Fayetteville, Rebecca (Jack) Bartlett of Tyrone, Steve (Tracy) Harrelson of Peachtree City, Ken (Lacy) Harrelson of Corpus Christi, Texas; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m., in The First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Chapel. The Rev. Irvin Pearre will officiate. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 17 from 12 to 2 p.m., at the church.
