Clayton County police are looking for leads in a Thursday-night shooting that left one man dead and a teenager injured.
Terrant Flournoy, 30, of College Park, was pronounced dead Thursday night after a shooting that reportedly occurred near the corner of Summer Brook and Brookstone roads in the north Clayton area, according to police.
Police said they responded to the shooting at approximately 11:36 p.m.
According to police, witnesses saw a black, four-door vehicle parked on Summer Brook Road, with an unspecified number of males inside. Witnesses told police they saw Flournoy standing near the driver's-side window of the vehicle, when an argument started and shots were fired, police said.
Flournoy was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital on Thursday night, where he was later pronounced dead, according to police.
Montavious Davis, 17, of Riverdale, the second victim in the shooting, told police he was walking past a black vehicle and heard two black males arguing. He was shot in the upper thigh, and was taken to Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, police said.
Clayton County Police Officer India Smith said Davis was listed in stable condition at Southern Regional on Friday afternoon.
Smith said police were still searching for clues in the shooting.
"All we know is that it is a black vehicle, possibly a Cadillac," she said. "No one has seen who was in the vehicle. We couldn't get a straight answer. We're hopeful [for leads in the case]."
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police at (770) 477-3747.
