Henry County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect in a fraud case, which originated at a pair of businesses in McDonough.
The suspect has committed the crime in different states, according to authorities.
The individual is wanted for questioning in reference to allegations of identity fraud and financial transaction card fraud. The local incidents took place April 9 at two locations in McDonough, according to Police Capt. Jason Bolton.
The alleged frauds, he added, occurred at the Rite Aid at 961 Ga. Highway 20/81, and Jodeco Foods at 3060 Jodeco Road. Authorities in Indiana alerted Henry County Police to the case, Bolton said.
"The suspect used a debit card belonging to Christina Wagner of Whiteland, Ind.," Bolton said. "The card has been used in a couple of other states as well."
Authorities have obtained surveillance-video footage of the suspect. Anyone with information on the individual's identity or whereabouts, is asked to contact Henry Police Detective Sgt. Steven Fowler, by phone at (770) 288-8345, by FAX at (770) 288-8270, or via e-mail at sfowler@co.henry.ga.us.
