School system to host Clayton C.A.N. Expo

Parents will be able to sign up their children for various summer camps and programs around the county, just over a week from now, during an event hosted by Clayton County Public Schools' Student Services Division.

In addition to summer camp registration, families can also undergo health screenings, such as blood pressure checks and body mass indexing, at the Second Annual Clayton County Community Action Nexus Community Expo, also known as the Clayton C.A.N. Community Expo.

Parents will be able to register their children for camps and programs that cater to youths of all ages, according to the school system's web site.

The event will be held Saturday, May 1, from 10 a.m., to 2 p.m., at the Jim Huie Recreation Center, which is located at 9045 Tara Boulevard, in Jonesboro.
