Six Henry County residents were being held in the county jail Friday, for allegedly dealing drugs in Stockbridge.

Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton said the Special Weapons and Tactics Team, the Criminal Apprehension and Gang Enforcement unit, and the K-9 units assisted Henry Narcotics officers in serving a search warrant at a Rock Quarry Road home Thursday.

"The search warrant was the result of a two-month-long investigation into narcotics sales at the ... location," said Bolton. "Approximately one (1) gram of cocaine and over two ounces of marijuana were seized during the execution of the search warrant."

Jovana Whitlock, 32, is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Suspects charged with possession of cocaine and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana include: Antonio Fitzgerald Turner, 40, and Evelyn Denise Crumbley, 37.

Eighteen-year-old Patrick Cleveland and 30-year-old Daveyon Shamard Ricks, are each charged with possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Carlo Ramon Boykin, 28, was arrested at the scene for a probation violation related to prior charges of simple battery and obstruction of an officer, jail records state. He is being held in the jail without bond.

A 15-year-old, juvenile, male suspect in the case is charged with possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a minor. He was released to the custody of his parents, Bolton said.

George Franks, Jr., 53, also of Stockbridge, was arrested April 20, as part of the investigation. He was released from the jail April 23, on $1,795 bond.

Turner, Whitlock and Crumbley each appeared in Henry County Magistrate Court Friday, represented by the Public Defender's Office. Judge Robert Godwin set their bonds at $5,050 each, and bound their charges over to Superior Court.

Cleveland and Ricks were each being held in the jail Friday on $1,830 bond. Henry County Solicitor General Chuck Spahos said their cases, as well as the case against Franks, will be adjudicated in Stockbridge Municipal Court.
