Milan is a one year old Norwegian Forest Cat mix. She has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Milan and her sister, Paris, were rescued from a wooded area in the North Georgia mountains, where they had been left in cardboard box (as very tiny babies), abandoned and totally vulnerable to potential predators and the elements (it was last winter). These two little girls were extremely bonded and really struggled to settle into the shelter environment. In the last few months, we had seen some improvement, but the girls still stayed very close to each other. Fortunately, Paris was just recently adopted; but unfortunately, we could not convince them to take Milan also. Since Paris left, Milan has been somewhat sad and depressed, and does not appear to be eating much. The CCHS staff is very concerned about Milan right now.....we really believe that she needs to be placed quickly. She is a bit shy, and likely needs a calm, quiet home. Anyone interested in this gorgeous girl should call Robin at 770/478-7531. Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.
