A woman was allegedly robbed by two other women in a parking lot, Thursday, at the Family Dollar store, located at 1102 Mount Zion Road, in Morrow, according to Capt. James Callaway, of the Morrow Police Department.

Callaway said two women approached the victim in the parking lot, stole a small amount of money from one of her hands, and grabbed her car keys from the other hand. He did not immediately release the name of the victim.

The incident occurred at around 2:20 p.m., Callaway said.

The women reportedly sprayed the victim with some sort of substance, and stole her black 2005 Ford Escape, with tag No. BCY1054.

"They sprayed her with Mace [pepper spray], or some other substance," he said.

Callaway said, prior to the incident, the victim had left a Chevron gas station on Mount Zion Road, where she is employed, and drove to the Family Dollar, which is located adjacent to the gas station.

Through investigation, it was determined that the victim was followed from the gas station by a silver, extended-cab, pick-up truck, said Callaway. The truck had a Tennessee tag with the partial number: 425, he said.

In addition to the two female suspects, there were three males inside the truck, he said.

The victim was alone when approached by the suspects, said Callaway.
