During the event, "Mrs. Claus" will read stories to children, and have a light breakfast with the youngsters. The purpose of the forum is to get public input on state education policies and performance, from residents of Georgia's 13th Congressional District, which Murray represents on the state board. The Everett Music School is offering a Music After School Program for local children, at the school's new location at the Emmanuel Baptist Church Campus, at 230 Ga. Hwy. 138, Bldg. B, in Riverdale. Through the program, youths receive homework assistance, Criterion-Reference Competency Test (CRCT) preparation, math and reading enrichment, and music lessons for piano, drums, singing and music theory.
